Ha, I think you may ahve something there Blazed, All my favorite teams also since the sixties and nothing but letdowns for the most part, but one thing, I never ,ever switch my teams, life seems to be one long losing streak now, but things will change. Well for the Jets and Mets ,the Knicks are going to need a complete transfusion. Good post.

The sixties. Well I don't know anything about the Knicks but, if that's the case, then you've witnessed both of the Jets and the Mets win championships. In fact you saw your teams play in two of the most memorable championships in either league, the Namath Super Boast and the Miracle Mets. Not only that, but in the miracle year you had the added bonus of witnessing the first moon landing.
Two miracles in one year. That's not too shabby.

Wow, what a crappy draft by the Knicks, and just what they needs, another small foward. So their team is 7 small fowards, 5 shooting guards, and a big dummy in the middle in Zach Randolph. What a disgrace!! At least I am a Yankees man, it takes the edge off of being a fan of the Isles and Jets.

I think the Jets will be better then people think. The "O" line will be one of the best in football. As for the QB spot I am torn. Do we need the smart play action QB or the still young strong arm'd guy? I think it has to be Chad. My reason for this is not one of our WR will scare any team deep, with this line Jones could be a force leading to Chad's M.O. of the play action pass. Keller will help out Chad alot. As for the "D" I am hoping they just bring it all season! I would like to see them add a MLB next to Harris because I think Barton is done. Also maybe move Thomas back to DE so the LB core will be :
Pace - ? - Harris - Vernon
In closing Lowery will be starting on the otherside of Revis.

So do I. For one thing, Pennington is a lot better quarterback than people give him credit for. I think it's very odd that he seems to get so much bad press. Secondly, it's always best to keep your young QB in a backup role for as long as you can. They develop better that way. Well, there are limits to that wisdom but three or four years as a #2 guy is hardly unreasonable. Sometimes it's not feasible for a team to approach their rookies in that way but when you've got a solid starting veteran it's always feasible. Besides, if they start the rookie it's automatically going to put their offense in rebuilding mode. Your QB is too key an element not to affect the overall performance of your offense in that way. Well, the way the Jets management approached free agency this year tells me that they do not feel in any way that they are a team that is rebuilding. They want to be contenders right this minute. They need a veteran QB to do that.
