I hear a law to establish such a list is in the works. When DBD came to visit DC and attended a congressional session, the issue has risen to utmost importance. They will require you to register and if you are on the list, you can't enter the capitol building - unless you show proof that you have purged everything from your intestines within the last 24 hours.Stick is petitioning the Vatican for asylum.

Global warming is a false doctrine conspiring to change our life habits to become "one" of the world together. Climate changes have nothing to do with Global bs. The last ice age was some 15-20,000 years ago and soon we will have another. Volcanos,earthquakes,storms, cow and horse crap(expert with 3 arabs) far exceed anything mankind could possibly do any harm to God s earth. He removed the dinosaurs so we could be brought to earth to dominate the animal kingdoms. We are not from monkeys as Obama claims he is.
I was at Walmart monday and on the wall were 2-5th grade drawings hung. All were pro-evironment and negative to coal,gas,etc. They had red stripes thru nuclear plants also. The sun s and trees all had smiley faces and i really wanted to tear them down or go to the manager. Then i stopped and realized this is what the schools are promoting to kids who barely can put a sentence together. Socialized education has been going on long years now. I feel sorry for most of the young people who turn their children over to current school systems. I will accept my short 5 year invested pension soon, knowing that though i lost in the 80 s, i have been vindicated in this era. Forty-five pct graduate from Vegas HS s. They are not "buying" what is taught today. My old homestate of Calif is in total collapse mode. Thankfully, i escaped in 94!
Today, its just another 110 in the high desert(2700ft), average day for us on Jul 2. When we drop to 85 on this day, ill gladly talk of climate change. Some of the young posters have escaped the "oneness" teachings, but im not sure how long you will free of mind. The Chinese are drilling 50 miles off our coast today, taking our oil!!!!!

I hear this a lot and I used to think people were just saying it as a joke but now I'm beginning to think a lot of people really do not understand global warming and how it affects the environment
Basically a cold day does nothing to discredit global warming much in the same way a hot day does nothing to prove it Climate change is very real (whihc is what it should be called). It's been happening for millions of years and will continue to happen. We;ve had ice ages and "hot periods, several times throughoout earths vast history and we'll go through those periods again. The idea we humans have any actual effect on it, that is the farce. That is what discredits Al Gore and his legion of morons, we can't "encourage it" anymore than we can stop it .

I agree usc. I think climate is in a constant state of flux, but humans have nothing to do with it. The Earth is a self correcting system, and humans will cease to exist at a time and a place of the Earth's choosing.
To put how insignificant we really are into perspective. If we released the energy from every nuclear weapon on the planet, it would produce less energy than 10 minutes of an average hurricane. To state that we are merely a pimple on the world's backside might be giving us to much credit.

The idea we humans have any actual effect on it, that is the farce.Well, actually, scientists all over the world believe that idea. I believe the statistical significance of it having be a result of human activity is 94%. (I believe it was AZCats who posted that, I forgot the link).
The only people who think it is a farce are in the US. And only people who call themselves "conservative". It is because the issue has been politicized here.
Just because you ignore the problem, it won't go away. And the longer you ignore it, the harder it will be to fix.
You guys are simply choosing to disbelieve the constant flow of evidence of a phenomenon. You discount the idea that it may be true. You spend your energies on refuting it, when in fact, the energies spent on addressing it could be much more useful, and potentially less.
Every other country in the world thinks it is something that is important to address. Large part of the US's population thinks it is important to address. You gotta ask yourself, why are you ignoring an issue that is important to so many people. Even if you don't believe it yourself.
