The Oakland A's broke all kind of rules in these negotians. I guess the rules only apply when Bud Selig wants them to apply, just like steroids every body just turns a blind eye!

What rules did they break? What evidence do you have to support your claims?

Stop making stuff up. The A's should sue you for defamation.

just because the Rangers have a dolt owning the team and a kid as the GM dont bash our organization, the A's have long won the right way, and i live in arlington so i dont firsthand about how horrible the rangers front office truly is

Are you seriously still whining about steriods.  Get over it.  It was more than just the 90's and 00's.  Steriods have been around for years.  Did you not hear about Terry Bradshaw?  He used them, but he did it for getting over injuries faster, but he still used them.  So I would bet that many others in all sports did it ever since they came about.  If you want something to whine about whine about the statiums being smaller because owners want more seats and money.  And the way they get money is buy giving the fans what they want.  What do the general fans want?  Home runs.  Fans can over look a guy striking out 150 times if they hit 50 HRs 450 feet.  It is just now everyone wants something to cry in every sport.  If you can't get over it find another hobby.  They are working on cleaning up sports because everyone is looking for that edge.  Pitchers use to put mysterious substances on balls or put small cuts on them to get more movement.  Thats cheating.  Hitters cork their bats. Thats cheating.  Those are rules.  Steriods never really were until the last couple years.  So think about it.  Anyone could have offered this kid more money to get him.  The A's won.
