That's why I still haven't lost faith in Girardi, he seems like the guy who learns from his mistakes. Don't get me wrong, I'm still pi$$ed as hell at him but at least he's doing the right thing now.

Finally he makes the right move. I see that Betemit in there again guess he want to see if Wilson still got it going on from his past 2 starts.

That's what bugs me. While we're benching Melky, we are missing Matsui immensely. Betemit is playing better lately, but he is not an everyday ML player. He's not a good fielder either.

I don't agree with DH'ing Giambi because statistically he's much better at the plate when he plays the field. However, I like swapping Gardner with Melky for a game or 2. If it doesn't work out at least it's gives Melky a day off to reflect on his poor performance. Look how well David Wright responded after the Mets gave him a day off a few weeks ago. I guess we'll have to wait and see...
