Josh Smith could team with Samuel Dalembert and Thadeus Young to make one of the best front lines in the conference next year???  Is that really what this article said?  Better than Perkins-Garnett-Pierce?  No.  Better than Prince-McDyess-Wallace?  No.  Better than Howard-Lewis-Hedo?  No.  Better than Bosh-O'Neal-Bargnani?  No.  Better than Marion-Beasley-Haslem?  No.

Other than the Knicks Washington, and Atlanta, I am not sure who they could be referring to.  Better than James-Wallace-Big Z?  No.  Better than Deng-Noah-Thomas?  MAYBE equal.

I am a new sixer fan (I just can not root for the Knicks any more - 23 years of that crap is enough).  But if that is what the Sixers consider a block-buster move, then maybe I will have to keep moving down 95 and root for Washington.

Also I have too say you don't know jack about basketball, Sammy was a top 5 center last year so teamed up with Josh Smith they will be a FORCE. Then Andre Igoudala, Andre Miller, Willie Green, Lou Williams, and Rodney Carney all those players are young and up and coming except andre he has alot of experience. We made it too the playoffs now we are improving and now we will make it further.

We beat the Knicks before I believe IN BOSTON before we got josh smith

If as an alleged "new fan" you threaten to move on when the team doesn't make a move you like, mosey on down to D.C.  No offense, but you're clearly not commited to the team anyway, cut your losses now, and go.  The truth of the matter is, in life everything isn't going to go the way you want it.  This is a kid, he's only 22, and almost a 20 and 10 guy, and his #s improve every year.  Young has a chance to be a dominant player in the league too.  Don't sell us short when you go buy your Wizards cap.

Oh, one more thing.  I live in Toronto, and any front line that involves Andrea "I can't believe this guy went first overall" Bargnani, can't be considered in the top 100 of anything.  The guy's a stiff, like Araujo before him.

By all means, keep moving down 95. We don't want the stink from the Knicks to wear off on our up-and-coming franchise, even if you are/were just a fan.

Besides, how do you just pick a new favorite team be/c your own stinks?

Josh Smith would make the sixers more explosive which they already are and he is only 22 and thad is 19 about to turn 20..that will be a good front court for years to come and could develop into one of the best in the league..especially if sammy plays wit attitude he could easily be a double-double machine..i am so excited about the possibility of smith joining philly..i have said this be4 and i will say it again, smith and iggy will break backboards together!
