Hornets interested in Maggette

i'd totally piss my pants if we can land Maggette

Corey Maggette got a offer from the Celtics.

I'd be shocked if he went to the Celtics. They offered him $5.8 million which is less than what he'd make if he didn't opt out. plus, they already have Ray Allen and Paul Pierce so he wouldn't even start.

Maggette would not be that hard for us to pick up.  Far easier than a restricted FA (Ben Gordon) my main concern is Maggete's health.  He's been injured fairly consistently over the past few years and don't forget that Peja is usually subject to some type of injury that would limit him.

I'm not completely sold on another injury prone player coming in, but if he's healthy he's a better fit than even Ben Gordon (my personal favorite for the offseason) would be.
