I agree ceeray.  The situation is fine.  I believe if the Colts were concerned about their current unit they wouldn't have let Morris and Boiman walk.  They also would've been more proactive in signing Colvin.  The group they have now is young, athletic and they like to hit.  Wait.  They love to hit.

I have a bigger worry about DE depth than LB.

Good point NCCUD.  I think pass rushing DE is where I am a bit worried.  Freeney is coming back from injuries.  Any set backs and the Colts could have a bit of trouble.  I am glad that they drafted Howard to hopefully bolster that aspect of the Colts line.

The linebacking depth is a worry too.  The Colts seem to be a bit injury prone on defense.  Teams can only be so deep with the way the cap works.  Last year we saw that the Colts coped some what but were hurt particularly in regards to pass rushing the QB last year.  Another key is special teams was a mess as all the decent special teamers were playing defense.  That was possibly the worst part of the team last year was special teams.  Hopefully, the Colts can stay more healthy than last year.

We do need someone we can count on to step up in the backup role.
