Half way home on a bitterly disappointing season where the Indians were supposed to challenge only the Red Sox as the top team in the major leagues.  Outside of C.C. Sabathia, Cliff Lee, and Grady Sizemore, there is equal blame throughout the whole team.  The common theme is lack of offense and power.   So I ask my Wahoo faithful, if you can take a break from the Browns minicamp coverage, to vote on what has been the biggest disappointment for you in 2008 so far?

BrownsChamp, I'm the guy that voted other.  I couldn't pick one over the others.  Quite frankly the fact that you can name five position players and three members of the bullpen (More like 2, since Borowski wasn't all that great last year) that have gone from assets in 07 to liabilities in 08 almost sums it up.  Mental errors (base-running) and not being able to capitalize on opportunites, combined with a down-graded personel performance adds up to the disaster that is the Indians 08 season.  Yea, it's done.  Go Browns

I'd vote other.  It has to be the offense as a whole.  I can't point to one player or another, but the offense has underachieved greatly.

The biggest disappointment in my opinion is the bullpen, the entire unit is awful I have lost confidence is pretty much all of them. Borowski days as a closer have to be limited, Betancourt looks like a different pitcher this year so our one two punch at the back end last year is a joke this year. The rest of the bullpen is not much better and there is no real answer to this problem in the immediate future.

Hafner was a complete disappointment before his injury, and Victor was in a terrible power slump but I believe especially in Victor's case that playing with these injuries caused for their lack of production.

I voted other as well.  My biggest disappointment has been all the bandwagon fans jumping off and constantly complaining.

Can't argue with the whole offense either or Shelton having a job still being the most disappointing either.

Hermie I don't think people are jumping off the bandwagon. It's just frustration. It's human nature to complain when things are going south like this. These season's are rough to go through but from what I see the fans are having conversations about how the team can look forward. We are a resiliant fan base though.
