Ok. Despite the criticism I might receive for making the suggestion...

Here goes.

The scenario goes a little something like this.

Favre is considering coming back out of retirement.

However, The Pack is in the process of moving on. (i.e. drafting Brian Brohm to back up Aaron Rogers)

The Pack is still interested in Jason Taylor.

Brett Favre and Jason Taylor both have two years left on their contracts but will probably only end up playing 1 year SO...

I think you know where I'm going with this.

JT for Favre?

Discussion topic:
How possible do you think it is?
If it is possible in your mind, would you want him for 1 year?
Would he retire again at the thought of playing anywhere but Green Bay or does he just want to play.

Mock away, fellow Dolfans, mock away.

No way we trade JT for Favre. As much as I loooooove Favre, he would only play in Green Bay. If he were to get traded, he would re-retire.

Good to think outside the box, but there are two problems i see. (probably more)
1. He denies wanting to come back. So if he is not wanting to come back, he wont be back
2. When ever someone comes out of retirement they do it so they can win a championship.  The Dolphins are not looking at one right now, or anytime soon, that is why  Jason Taylor wants out.

Good job though Brandondolfan! way to put your balls out on the line when you know they are going to get chopped off.
I would like him here to mentor, but it just won't happen, and i know you know it too deep down.
 5 star performance.

That's the first thing I thought too. Favre as a mentor for one or two years would be great! And who knows? The Fins might win a few games in the bargain!

Not gonna happen though.

Interesting topic, but gonna have to chop your balls off :) I can't see Favre coming out of retirement to lead a 1-15 team. Second, what would be the point for us? I'd rather have our youngster John Beck getting the game game experience. Signing Favre would just take away from our own guys. Its time right now to find out what we have in Beck since he is our potential future and Favre is not.

I don't see it happening either but I like the way you are thinking.

If I was Parcells I'd ask Favre if he would like to spend a few months in the sun of Miami mentoring our QBs as a one-on-one coach.

I can't see him coming out of retirement but why not tap into his experience while its still fresh? The guy loves the game so much he is bound to want some involvement in it going forward.

Check this out. I brought this up as a topic for discussion. Personally I feel that the trade would never happen either simply because Wisconsin would succeed from the union if Favre ever donned another jersey besides the Green and Yellow #4.

Apparently I'm not the only one applying a little imagination to off-season moves in the NFL
