McCAIN CAMPAIGN RELEASE FROM SPOX BRIAN ROGERS

All: Please find below our campaigns response to Barack Obamas Iraq statements today:

"Since announcing his campaign in 2007, the central premise of Barack Obama's candidacy was his commitment to begin withdrawing American troops from Iraq immediately. He campaigned in Iowa, New Hampshire and across the country reaffirming this pledge to the American people.

"Today, Barack Obama reversed that position proving once again that his words do not matter. He has now adopted John McCain's position that we cannot risk the progress we have made in Iraq by beginning to withdraw our troops immediately without concern for conditions on the ground. There is nothing wrong with changing your mind when the facts on the ground dictate it. Indeed, the facts have changed because of the success of the surge that John McCain advocated for years and Barack Obama opposed in a position that put politics ahead of country.

"Now that Barack Obama has changed course and proven his past positions to be just empty words, we would like to congratulate him for accepting John McCain's principled stand on this critical national security issue. If he had visited Iraq sooner

Imagine that. Whodat gonna beat  Obama down? Of course people for Obama will think it all lies but now Obama talkin out both sides of his face. HAHAHAHAHAHA

1. If the US was to retreat from Iraq what, in your opinion, would be the outcome in Iraq?

2. Would that eventual outcome be detrimental or favorable to the security of the US and its foreign based intrests?

I am no Obama supporter. What will happen in Iraq and Afganistan if we withdraw?

The slaughter that started in Biafra in the 80's, Darfur, Bosnia, will all be relived again. Jihad against the infidel.

In 1968 the US put a base, with UN approval, in Eastern Egypt. Personnel stationed there were required to never divulge of its existance. Others thought the flowery name for it made its existance a myth. The Navy loadmaster told us personnel in transit that we were never there this place does not exist. I said OK right. But to fly south on Mac flight from Sigonella and end up waking from a nap at sunup to the sight of Pyramids off to west was something you never forget. Bunkered F-16's and the like you know.

 Our presence in the Middle East is a requirement, duty whatever you want to call it to keep the flow of oil to the rest of the world. I only wish is that we would be paid for escorting this oil in a manner commensurate with our service. The World Economy dictates why we are where we are and why we are who we are.  

Now all Democrats go stand in the corner and ponder what is right. Even Ned in the first reader knows this truism: The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

And in concert with the notion that we cannot change the world, "Every place the US has been and fought a war there is now an ally(Korea, Germany, Japan, former USSR, Mexico). All have adopted our economic system and the whole world is richer for it.

It is not perfect but it works.

Obama '08 because I believe in the constitution

Yeah one more Supreme Court liberal and they can rewrite the Constitution.

So now the Democrats tell us that Republicans are haters and war mongerers.
