I like the signings. I think they signed Satan to take Hossa's place and Fedotenko to replace Malone. I wouldn't have monded seeing Fedotenko get a few more years on that contract, we needed some more grit and front of the net presence with the losses we have taken thus far. The media seems to be saying that the Pens only inked these guys for a year because there are a few free agents up next year they are more interested in, if thats the case they certainly aren't bad as stop gap guys. The signings of Malkin, Fleury and Orpik all to five years or better is great news! I still think there could be a Sydor trade in the future here, we'll see.
