	I agree...Dementiava needs to keep her mouth shut and start respecting the Williams sisters a little more. It's great that they are keeping American tennis on the map when all other Americans are fading, quickly. Although, with a little hope and luck, I do think Roddick may have a good US Open run in August...

	Perhaps, but you have to know that two black women in the finals of a tennis tournament is a ratings nightmare. One can't blame the williams' for coming along during an era where there are no real competitors in the women's game. They're here and for those of us that want to see two "pretty" women compete, we simply wait........

	Bush, you are a racist moron. Tennis isn't supposed to be a beauty pageant you idiot. And actually ratings go WAAAAY up when a Williams sister is in the final. Look at the state of American tennis or do you even know the game? Roddick and Blake can't win a slam, Fish can only win the lesser tournaments, and the other American women are a joke. NOONE watches tennis unless one of the sisters is in the finals because no American man can get there. Boy I tell you your name says it all.

But if you don't want to see the "family affair" then do something about it, like, oh i don't know, win your match? Until then, quit griping about it and let the rest of us enjoy it. 	ninerfan1...No, not a racist at all nor am I willing to marginalize myself for the sake of being politically correct. Ratings are numbers and therefore not very ambiguous my friend. Ratings do not go up at all no matter how idealistic you may wish to interpret them. 90% of your response was insulting me personally, 0% factual and 9% bloviating. You have little margin for error so please post something worth my time.

	Nicely put. Makes you wonder why these two don't enter more contests. I mean, with the talent level in women's tennis today, their participation alone would intimidate scores from even entering the tournament and the rest would be history, no?
