I really think Cameron as a veteran should take a look at himself and try to figure out why he has failed miserably hitting in the #2 spot in the lineup.  Hardy has been moved to the spot and has proven immediate success and is currently in the midst of a 14 or 15 game hitting streak with many multiple hit games and increased power numbers.

The reason to the success is that Hardy realizes he is going to get better pitches to hit than he did when hitting #7 or #8 in the lineup.  With braun and Fielder behind him now he knows the pitchers are going to go after him.  He is capitalizing on this opportunity by being aggressive and hitting pitches that he should be hitting.  Why Cameron struggled mightily in this position is beyond me, as an experienced veteran he should know he is in a great position in the lineup and have been able to produce consistently.  I think this proves how ineffective Cameron is as a hitter as he has proved that the only thing he is capable of doing is hitting the occasional home run.  the 3 liabilities on offesnse right now are weeks, Hall and cameron.  Cameron is by far the worst followed by Hall and then weeks, but Cameron stands head and shoulders above both Weeks and Hall in his inability to perform at the plate.  Hardy has proven to everyone just how bad Cameron really was performing while hitting in the best spot possible in the lineup.

Surgeon what did you expect with Cameron hitting in the 2 hole?  He never was a 2 hole hitter.  Everyone knew that except the few people that listened to Doug Melvin and Ned Yost's insistance that they wanted power and Cameron's patience in the 2 hole and believed their garbage.  I have been wrong with a few things notable McClung, and Jeff Weaver.  However me stating at the beginning of the year I was very much against Cameron hitting second and I was calling for Hardy  the best fastball hitter to hit second in front of Braun.  I caught crap for that too, because I said Ned would put Braun 3rd and Fielder 4th eventually  even though Ned stated differently at the time, and it took his 2 stars to tell him to make the move.
