Toot toot!  Yeah, that's me tooting my own horn again. Two days ago I counseled against playing Jeff Francoeur.  Today, Frenchy was demoted to Double-A according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.  Francoeur is not happy with the demotion and feels betrayed by the Braves organization.

I think this will turn out to be a good thing for Frenchy.  He will have a chance to deconstruct his swing.  Even without doing it, he would be nothing short of a rock star in Mississippi.  I expect him to return to the mothership a week or so after the All Star break with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove.
