These passages can be applied to the issue of when life begins. The Bible doesn't specifically mention abortion, but we get the picture. There are people that just don't have a problem with the procedure at all. That's OK and that's their right. It's a tough issue with some gray area.
We shouldn't have young women/teenage girls purposely not even told about the alternatives to abortion and even sway them in that direction, despite their natural maternal instincts or a struggle with right and wrong. No parental notification? Abhorrent. And public funding for it? Disgusting.
I call it murder. I went along with the crowd when I was younger and was swayed by the whole "choice" thing. We may all have differing opinions, but look into the facts about the procedures, statistics, how things are done in some these clinics, and the psychological destruction it causes for women that had the right to make that "choice" with their body. I decided to educate myself, and I'm glad I did. It won't be the most feel good stuff you'll ever read or see, but sometimes....
