    The article was a gas.   I was almost laughing while reading the story you've provided for our humor, and opposing defensive coordinators horor. 

   "Imagine this. You’re the defensive coordinator of a Southeastern Conference team on Florida’s schedule this year. You’re sitting up in the booth, still trying to figure out what you’re going to do next time Dan Mullen slips Chris Rainey into the backfield to go along with Percy Harvin and Brandon James in the slots and suddenly the Gators break the huddle with Louis Murphy, Deonte Thompson, Percy Harvin and Chris Rainey. Then you notice the guy on the far side of the field. That’s Jeff Demps. We’re talking about trouble, right here in River City and that’s trouble with a capital T".

  Then you get down to the part of the story where we have the defense spread out and they go, OH   SH*T who's got Tebow ?

   We should have a lot of fun the first few weeks of the season, Hawaii won't want to get back on the field in the 2nd qtr. Miami will still be trying but to NO avail, and Tennessee oh my GOD I want  to see them cry.

I know the article was sort of written in humor but we all know that this type off stuff is going to take place in the coaching boxes of the opposing teams every week this year.  I don't think we Gator fans have ever seen an offense like the one we well see in a couple of months.  You better believe that every Saturday  coach Meyer and mullen are going to call a play and it's just going to make you shake your head and smile as our boys celebrate in the endzone.  Kind of like how you felt the first time you saw Tebow play-action run to himself and then throw a TD.  That was awesome!  There are going to be so many different wrinkles.  Poor Miami and Tennessee!  These boys don't have a clue what is coming.

What is the general opinion of Dan Mullen as our O.C? I'm very mixed. On some games (Particulary the TN and SC games of last year, I loved the diverse play calling). But other games (Auburn, Ole Miss and Michigan) the play calling was horrendous. And allow me to clarify what I mean because we won the first two games and lost two of the last three.

On the first two games, we used all our weapons: Harvin, Ingram, tebow running and throwing, end arounds, brandon james, louis murphy, riley cooper (in the TN game). We ran draws up the middle, we used play actions, we shared the load with our WR and RB's.

The other games, we seemed like we had 5 plays. The ole miss game we ran tebow over 25+ times. I dont care if he was averaging 8 yards a carry (which he wasnt), DONT DO THAT TO YOUR QB. The Auburn game was the same way, run tebow or get the ball to percy. The michigan game (the worst of all) was the percy harvin show. If we didnt get the ball to harvin, then we seemed lost. I know there is alot of facts to consider, (tougher defenses, some plays open up other ones, you cant really pass until you establish a rushing etc) but still! I love the spread offense, but im not sold on Dan Mullen just yet. Boy am I spoiled, even after a conference championship and a NC, I'm still not sold. But hey, YOU saw the michigan game.

I, myself, read the article and despite the funny parts, we all know that's exactly what's goingt to happen come fall. I feel very sorry for Hawaii and after we hand those convicts you call Canes there butts, they're going to say "hey, it took you 23 years to beat us." I really want to see Tennesse bawl. I want to see Tears in those hillbillies eyes as Tebow stiff-arm the defense on his way to goal. i want to see tears in those hillbillies eyes when the defense fails to catch one of our speedy players, and while they're singing Rocky Top, while the football team is hitting Rock Bottom on the field, i'l be celebrating.
