Ben is 6-2 against Palmer, and his two losses were 38-31 and 28-20.  Ben did throw 3 ints in the 38-31 game, the last one coming on a 4th and long at the end of the game.  The Steelers also had 3 other turnovers in that game, Ward and Parker each fumbled inside the redzone on scoring drives, and our punt returner fumbled a return.  So it was more of the team blew the game, not as much as Ben.  In the 28-20 game, the Steelers had the lead with 6 minutes left, and Reid fumbled a punt return inside our 20, then Parker fumbled on the next series inside our 30, and low an behold, Carson throws two short passes for TDs and turning a 20-14 loss into a 28-20 win.  Ben had nothing to do with that loss.

Do we even need to look at Carson's performance since he is 2-6 against the Steelers.

Like I said before, you guys are good taking stats and twisting them to your favor.

Can you see the forest through the trees?

OH MY GOD...

Dude, get off your high horse......

The Steelers beat themselves??????    Can you release your sphincter muscles and pull our your head out for just one second?   You consider a loss due to the Steelers inability to create at opportune moments?  You don't give any credit to the other team?  According to you, Wisenhunt had NO factor in the game....  Apparently, when the Steelers play football, they don't play anyone but themselves.....

In what fashion did I say "the Cardinals had nothing to do with their own win"? When did you hear me imply even that? I merely pointed out the difference maker in the game and you blew like a frog on a hot plate. The Steelers made mistakes, the Cardinals didn't as much. They outplayed us and they won. But how about you practice what you preach here and look at it objectively: Had Ben not thrown 2 picks, one of which was on the Cardinals' 2 yard line, and had we not committed so many stupid penalties, one of which did lead to a punt return for a TD, there is no way you can honestly say we lose that game. We beat ourselves by making so many stupid mistakes, just like every other team does every now and then. Clearly, however, you're so blinded with hatred for the Steelers and their fans that you couldn't see that through bifocles with telescope lenses.

Dude, you are flat out STUPID!  See...... this is why I can't stand you "head in the sand" Steeler fans....    You know, there is a world outside Pittsburgh.

Come on!!!   (I want to curse so bad, but I know CBS won't post it).

You're right, there is a world outside of Pittsburgh. I know; I live in Jaguars country. Gotcha there, Einstein.

I created a new poll to where you Steeler and Bengal fans can vote without affecting the outcome.

If I see no votes for being a Steeler or Bengal fan, we all will know the votes are skewed....

Absolutely, not at all.   Some of you guys are sooooo freakin' arrogant it is sickening!!!

I get pissed because if the Steeler have a bad day, it is because of the Steelers not the other team.   That, my friend, is true arrogance.

When the Bengals and Steelers have shootouts the Bengals win... Carson makes the plays and Ben throws horrible Ints...

First Ben is 6-2 vrs Palmer, so Carson hasn't made as many plays after all.

2004 game one:  Pit 28-17, Palmer 20-37, 164, 1 TD (2 yd pass), 2 INTs,  Ben 17/25, 174, 1 TD (11 yd pass), 0 INTs

2004 game two:  Pit 19-14, Palmer 13-25, 165, 2 TD (36 and 19 yd pass), 1 INT, Ben 15-21, 138, 1 TD (8 yd pass), 0 INTs

2005 game one:  Pit 27-13, Palmer 21-36, 227, 0 TDs, 2 INTs, Ben 9-14, 93, 2 TDs (21 and 18 yd pass), 1 INT

2005 game two:  Cin 38-31, Palmer 22/38 227, 3 TDs (1, 6 and 43 yd pass), 0 INTs, Ben 29/41, 386, 3 TDs (25, 20 and 6 yd pass), 3 INTs

2006 game one:  Cin 28-20, Palmer 18-26, 208, 4 TDs (16, 3, 9 and 30 yd pass), 2 INTs, Ben 18-29, 208, 0 TDs, 3 INTs

2006 game two:  Pit 23-17, Palmer 20-38, 251, 2 TDs (66 and 5 yd pass), 0 INTs, Ben 19-28, 280, 1 TD (67 yd pass), 1 INT

2007 game one:  Pit 24-13, Palmer 23-31, 205, 1 TD (9 yd pass), 0 INTs, Ben 19/26, 230, 2 TDs (21 and 6 yd pass), 1 INTs

2007 game two:  Pit 24-10, Palmer 17-44, 183, 0 TDs, 0 INTs, Ben 21-32, 184, 2 TDs (2  and 8 yd pass) , 2 INTs and 1 rushing 6 yd TD.

So Palmer managed 2 wins in 8 games against Ben, his biggest game was 251 yards, and there was only one shootout game, so not much a trend to go by, saying Palmer makes the play
