	I think Newsome will back out, BUT, not because he likes VT more, but because the COMPETITION scares him. I we dont need QB's scared of competition, LOL. Okay. That's why he's playing on the post-graduate team this year at Hargrave, instead of staying at his high school and dominating again. No worries here, Newsome is not needed, but it would be nice to see who wins the job with all these althetes. IF, they all come aboard. I bet RRod feels differently. The other guys might be very good, but if Newsome is the best of the bunch, wouldn't you rather have him?

	No single player is needed on any program, but he'd be a welcome addition. I don't think he's scared of competition either. That's why you get into sports. I do think he just committed publicly too early and wants to enjoy the recruiting process. I'll take Beaver, Newsome, Forcier, whoever...as long as they wanna play hard.

	Will Hargrave give him more exposure? What's the schtick here? I know when I read about him, "erratic passer" came up very often. Is that why he's making a transfer? Or is he just so tired of public school girls?

	Actually, I've heard he's a pretty accurate passer. He's got a strong arm, and is mobile. I don't think Hargrave will give him more exposure than going to the AAA payoffs again would have had he stayed at Chesapeake. He doesn't need exposure. Nearly every school would take him in a hurry. He's a good kid with good grades so he isn't going to a military school because of his attitude. He says Hargrave will prepare him better. Maybe he just wants to wake up everyday at 5:30 AM in a strict military environment.

	When asked about his committment to Michigan, he said "No comment." Sounds promising. For VT. His coach I guess isn't really keen on coaches being around his program recruiting. Sounds like a fun situation for all involved.

	Him being from Virginia, I'm sure he's exposed to more VT than the normal person, but Michigan's national following is much, much greater than VT's or that you might like to admit. Michigan boasts the largest alumni association in the entire world. Aside from Notre Dame, no other school football wise inherits more publicity. Michigan is one of the "Holy Four" that no matter what happens, always makes a story. ND, Alabama, and Southern Cal being the other three. Not sure if I agree Teddy.I think you are leaving your buddies out to the east that Ohio School that gets talked about on occasion..you are correct to a point...but as far as what you are alluding two as far as percived National teams here on the east coast I
