Nomar Garciaparra should have one more start tonight, he started at DH so it should be in the field.  After going 5 for 8 in his recent stint in Vegas, my guess is at first base to save his legs a bit, because he is scheduled to be activated Friday before the game and to start at Shortstop.  I think he should DH and let Andruw Jones play another game in the field.

All is well on the Jones front also, he didn't have a hit last night, but still batting .500 in his rehab stint.  There is a slight possibility that he comes back tomorrow too, instead of him resting this weekend then playing more games with Vegas (but don't count on it, just keep fingers crossed).  I am all for that, rehab is one thing when your injured and need to "rehab" it, but he is fine.  He needs at bats in the minors, but it's not like if he plays in LA he is risking further injury more than playing in Las Vegas.

The D-Bags should watch out the Dodgers are gonna run right by you, and never look back!

I hear ya Dude.... I'm telling you..it'll be nice getting back to playing the NL West this weekend... The Division is not very good...I definitely feel more comfortable playing teams within our own division than teams not in our division...considering we've mostly stunk against them.

Rafael Furcal and his back is a pain.  I wish him well but we might as well get going without waiting for him to help us.  Nomar Garciaparra will probably get a chance to go back to shortstop some when he comes back and if Joe Torre is smart, that will be a 2 game on and one off effort.  The All Star break will also help.  I want Andruw Jones, at least the hitting Jones back in the lineup with Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp flanking him in the outfield.  Duder is right, that a run is coming and I hope the Diamondbacks fail to find their game.  The Giants are a good pitching team, so don't expect alot of runs this weekend.  The Braves and Marlins are on the horizon before the break.  One and a half games back and we have played like cow pie, there is a god and I hope he is wrapped in blue for the next week and a half.  Go Dodgers finish off the Astros.

It is now official, barring any setback tonight, Andruw Jones will be starting in Center Field tomorrow in San Francisco.  I can't wait to see it, Nomar Garciaparra and Andruw Jones in the same lineup.  I'm getting excited all over again.

Happy 4th of July Everyone.  Im glad the Dodgers play in the horrible NL West. This team just baffles me sometimes.

Kershaw comes of his best outing so they send him to double A. Does that mean Penny will be back? Did stults get a position in rotation over him? I don't get it.

Nonetheless we could be in first place after this weekend even with the slew of injuries.

Too bad we signed that bum Andrew Jones or we could of made a real push in getting CC Sabathia.
