Good one, Cats (or should I say Pu$sy?).  How many games did we see the Pats not play at all until the last few minutes of the game?  (Philadelphia, Indy, and NYG I'm referring to.)  The Colts, on the other hand, overcame extreme injury situations time an time again last year.  Your team would have given up, but the Colts battled through.  In the real world (which you should try rejoining one day), the Colts won the SB two years ago, but NE hasn't won in four years.  It's a little funny to hear a Pat fan talking trash (especially with that pitiful defensive backfield your team has)! and the Patriots didn't have major injuries? they may not of been as bad as the colts but Sammy Morris was out for almost the entire year, Laurence Maroney wasen't healthy til half way through the season, stephen neal missed a couple of games, and Benjamin Watson who was off to an amazing start for the season(5 touchdowns in the first 6 games) missed a couple of games he was never the same following the injury. in 2005 brady carried a patriot team with a completely beaten up crappy line no running game and  the 2nd-worse secondary in the league to the playoffs. the pats secondary had problems covering over the middle aginst slot recievers and tightends. they were actually pretty good on the outside recievers. Ellis Hobbs and James Sanders are underated and ready to breakout.

hobbs had some sort of bone problem in his shoulder don't know specfically. hobbs held both Reggie Wayne and Antonio Gates without touchdowns in that playoff run. and hobbs only gave up only  3 touchdowns last season total 4 if you include the superbowl one.

Sammy Morris, Laurence Maroney, and Benjamin Watson added together don't equal either Dwight Freeney or Marvin Harrison. not trying to be a dick or anything, i'm just saying...

(ps why did this thread even get started at all? i'm so sick of talking about this $hit to be totally honest. i can still respect the pats as a talented football team and whatnot, even if some of their fans are total morons (like it or not, we have plenty of morons in our own fan base (bleedcoltsblue anyone?)). i dunno, i'm really just not interested in talking about the pats at all at this point in the season. like any other football fan of any other team, i just want to be optimistic about the upcoming season. lets leave this until we get closer to week 9 to start this discussion...)

just wants to agitate and start something.  The Colts shouldn't "fear" just the Patriots nor should the Patriots just fear the Colts.  It's arrogant to assume that each team is the only one that's a threat to the other.

Bottom line is that the Colts/Patriots rivalry is a great one.  They know each other well that they respect each other moreso than fear each other.  Hopefully, these teams will meet many times during the post-season in the coming years.  They'll both have their strength and weaknesses on both sides of the ball.  Only time will tell if they were ready for the challenge on game day.
