Ha Ha just watching FSN pre game and Ned Yost looks like a pretty happy guy. He was like I had fun writing in my pitching rotation I write Sheets CC Sheets CC then I go down to the Cubs and Sheets CC.

One Ned you thinking ahead because Sheets could be injured in the drop of a hat and one if the Brewers where smart regardless of what they do even if they win the World Series I think they have to take a serious look at you and your future.

Just had to comment good luck with the move Brewers fans here's to another great race.

im not a ned supporter. but u think we would consider not bringing him back if they won the World Series?Ok maybe I was a little crazy to say that however most people seem to agree that if you guys make the playoffs he stays I don't think so. Ned showed last year just why he is not a very good manager and early this year too.

It's just your team is too talented for even a manager as incompetent as Ned to continue to underachieve.

If the Brewers make the playoffs he will be back, but I would think that when/if they don't make it the following year he would be gone.

Melvin is also not a given to be back if the Brewers aren't able to make a run at things after this year.  This is a results based business and regardless of the deals that Melvin has put together over the past couple of years his head could be on the chopping block.

The majority of the success of the Brewers has come from player development (mostly Jack Z's realm) and not free agency/trades (Melvin and Co.).  Although no one can say that Melvin has made many bad deals, quite the contrary, at some point you may need a fresh face and Attanasio isn't going to just keep spending money with no results.
