2008-09 season.........................

I love the trade to get Love. Along with Jefferson, they will be a very good tandem. Mike Miller is a shooter who will stretch the defense. Gomes, Smith and Richards will be back. They are not interested in Telfair so they will search free agency for a back up PG. Could they lure Maggette there? Snyder won't be back as well. Line up:

F-K. Love/C. Smith/C. Richards/N. Pekovic

They will surely struggle again next season but they are moving in the right direction. Another lottery pick should help the process next season. Both Miller & Collins contracts come off the books after next season as well. They should be players in the free agent market (if they can attract big talent). 

Right now the twolves cap is at 50,667,105, this is with out signing Smith, Gomes, Chris Richard or telfair. I think the cap is goint to be around 58 million or so, not a lot left for free agents. we have the mid-level, but I would rather they keep that money for now.

next year Juwan Howard will come off the books saving 7.3 million, Collins will save 6.2 million. that is when we could spend some on a quality player

I like the Idea of adding cambyy that year, or Chandler if he executes his early termination clause. Maybe Travis Outlaw as well.
