Thank God there is a story about a star athlete with an NFL franchise actually doing the right thing. If more players were reported about when they were doing the right thing instead of just when they do something wrong. I know from a Broadcasting class I took in college that the News, print or broadcast, have a phrase they use when it comes to what makes the head lines, "if it bleeds it leads." Since so much of the positive news that comes out doesn't fall into that catagory it usually goes unreported or gets burried.
In these times of hearing about NFL players involved in DUI's/DWI's, hit and run, shootings, drugs, steroids, stabbings, police fights, dog fighting, and coaches involved in cheating scandals, I think we need to focus more on the good things that players do rather than the bad things.
