....funny.....but even as far back as the a's are of the Angels.....i dont think they would give him up just yet.....besides....he's an injury risk......and i'm sure the Mets would want somebody durable as well as solid.......as far as the bats are concerned....as an angels fan...i completely understand....
Let's not forget that the Mets don't have what it takes to get Harden unless they give up Reyes, as Beane will want to get a package much like the one he got for Haren.
Please, please don't post this again... your just giving PH more fuel in his anti-Mets crusade.
And the Mets MIGHT be able to get Harden, if they gave up every person in their farm system. They don't need him, though. They need a good relieever or 5 (replace everyone but Smith).
You really shouldn't post this because not only do you give me more ammo, but now when every NY sports journalist, Mets beat writer, ESPN, and FOX sees this they will spend the next 3+ weeks talking about how the Mets will make it happen by offering Endy Chavez, Aaron Heilman, and Olver Perez (because his expiring contract).
Hey PH, did you see the report today that Minaya confirmed that Cleveland him about Sabathia wating Fernando Martinez, one of their young pitchers (Kuntz or another) and a low prospect but the Mets turned him down?
