This is the most uninformed comment on this entire thread.  Are you implying that Francona is stacking the all-star roster?!

 This is not uninformed, I think you are paranoid. I was responding to someone saying that Torre use to pile on Yankees who did not deserve to be there and that is not true. I did not say anything about Francona doing it either.

 I was not whining, I just said that fans should stop voting for manny because he does not want to be there and is not happy about being voted in. He even said he was hoping for a little rest. Francona did not add anymore Red Sox because he realizes that out of all of them 2 or 3 only deserve to be there and the 2 most deserving are Lowell and Dice K which shows how bad the system is. 6 closers are way too many when Mussina and Dice K deserve to be there and papleblown and Sherrill do not. Paplebon has blown as many saves as Rivera, K-Rod, Nathan and Soria combined

I was saying that the AL roster is overloaded with closers (in comparison to the typical 4 selected).  Are you seriously calling Papelbon a bad closer?  2.33ERA 0.91 WHIP 26 Saves

He was voted on my the players.  There is no roster flexibility or removing him.

Rivera - 23 saves 0 blown  1.12 ERA  0.64 WHIP

K-Rod  - 35 saves 2 blown  1.88 ERA  1.17 WHIP

Nathan - 25 saves 2 blown  1.23 ERA   0.90 WHIP

Soria  - 23 saves  2 blown   1.62 ERA   0.77 WHIP

the 4 best above. I did not mean bad closer I just meant worst 2 on this team.

Paplebon - 26 saves  4 blown  2.33 ERA   0.91 WHIP

Sherrill  -  27 saves   5 blown   3.72 ERA  1.32 WHIP
