Eventhough Foley will get 5.5 million, he's career as an NFL player is over and the city and police officer who shot him got away with it. What a bunch of crap. Plus the officer also got honored by MADD because he made 50+ drunk driving arrest makes him a hero and his actions towards Foley is almost as though acceptable. While I don't condone driving drunk, the officer mistakes was not showing Foley his badge, which if I was Foley, I wouldn't stop my car either. His other mistake was shooting Foley 3 times just because he thought Foley was reaching for a gun which he didn't have. Shooting him once, I can understand but 3 times? c'mon. If police officers in San Diego can shoot people just base on their hunch, I'm glad I don't live there. I know Buffalo would need somebody like this officer, bet the DUI there would drop. Watch out NFL players, there's a new sheriff in town.
