Why do you say that? If he can putt, that puts him well ahead of a lot of the "next Tigers." No one will be the next Tiger, but who says Kim won't be a player who can challenge and occasionally beat Tiger?
AK definitely has game. I've been negative on Tiger for the past couple years, mainly b/c the media continually stuffs him down our throat. After this U.S. Open though, I am 100% convinced that 20 years from now, he will be known as the best player ever to tee it up. I know I'm not going out on a limb here, but AK will just be a bug, and Tiger's the windshield.
The putting will determine his future. He's already cool under pressure, but we'll have to wait and see how he plays with TW breathing down his neck. He'll have to do better than Ernie Els in that regard.
The only thing beyond a major win for Kim this season should be a Ryder cup berth. He may challenge, but wait until the golf king Tiger returns before any talk of dethroning begins.
Adam Scott is good...the 3rd best in the world... and hes American... and hes young... he from our 52nd state... South Africa.
Anthony Kim and Jason Day... are the 2 to keep an eye on. Having caddied in the Nationwide, I know that Jason Day has potential to be great. The ball comes off of his club with a different sound than it does the other guys.
