The worst thing that could happen to this team is for them to over-achieve and be in contention at the trade deadline. If that ends up the case Hicks will pressure Daniels to make some moves to push for the playoffs and we can kiss our farm system goodbye. Speaking of the farm system, I read earlier that Baseball Prospectus will have the Rangers system ranked 4th this year behind the Rays, Reds and Red Sox.
