The only way we get an NIT bid is if we win out the rest of our entire regular season then go the WAC tourney final, but even then, it will be kind of a longshot. We started off the season really bad, the team really missed Gibson on those first 5 games....had he been playing, we'd have a winning record and NIT wouldn't be entirely out of the question.
Depending on how the rest of the year goes, I see a small possibility of making a late season run in the tourney. An NCAA bid would be possible if our first opponent would be Fresno St., second opponent be San Jose St., then play New Mexico St. in the championship...all teams we have beaten by double digits.
For some reason, our warriors shoot horrible against the Pack, so just hope we don't play them...although that would be awesome revenge to take them out.
