Could you put up Beau Gerber numbers if you played for OU?  0 ppg, 0.4 rpg, 0 apg is pretty weak for having played 10 games.  I love OU, but why would you play this guy?

Capel like's him for some reason. Sometimes coaches can just be plain wrong and when it cost you a game or two its time to stop playing the player!!

Beau Gerber is a walk-on with the team.  He is doing this for nothing.  Sure he is part of the team and gets to be part of the team,  and who wouldn't want to be.  He is the last player off of the bench, so lighten up.  He has only been in 10 games, and he seems to be improving.

I agree. Lighten up. The kid won the team's Eduardo Najera Award for Intensity and Toughness his freshman year. (never given to a non-senior before). His intangibles(look it up, SoonerDominance) like relentless support and cheering for his teammates when he isn't on the court is probably why he is well liked by Coach Capel and teammates alike, never mind the fact he can barely get in a rhythm averaging 2 mins. a game because of the All Stars playing ahead of him.

Gmennn!  Did you really say "cheering?"  That's what we have cheerleaders for.  I didn't say he wasn't a good guy, I asked if you could average 0 ppg and 0 rpg.  By the way where would I look up his cheering stats?

are you kidding me the kid originally walked on to OU.  He's the last person to get into games, you don't know what your talking about. Check out his minutes, watch an OU game for once.
