Good season DOGS and I know next season will be even better.  Coach Cleveland should have something up his sleeve next year.  We can only go up from hear!  And most of all, THANKS for an ENTERTAINING year!

It  was a decent year. I'm proud that the team played there hearts out every game even when the games looked out of hand. We had some pretty good players tha we can build on for the future. I hope that next season will be better than this year. I know that the players will work hard and do everything possible to make the bulldogs back to what they are.

Being up north of Sacto, I didn't get to see the 'Dawgs play on tv this year. I sorta wish I had driven to Reno for a game, but c'est la vie. Anyways, Fox Sports BA used to carry a few 'Dawgs games but didn't this season... maybe Comcast Sports Net will? Anyway, I checked on the scores, and it seems like they were within single digits in most of the games they lost, but I still can't believe what a backslide they took this year, after a 22 game win season and NIT berth last year with basically the same core. I know they don't have any bench depth and O'Neal was hurt a lot, but still I felt is was a disappointing season. I felt like when the 'Dawgs had Tark, it was both a good and bad PR move. They got instant respect and ranking, which meant tv revenue and exposure. Still, Tark, in an advanced age, just couldn't excercise control of his guys like he used to back at UNLV. Those days brought a lot of pain to FS b-ball fans, who enjoyed the Boyd Grant glory years of the late '70s-early '80s and made the late '90s-early-'00s a disappointment. Ray Lopes looked like a good coach, with promise, but really messed us over too. Now, I think, in a weak effort to keep it in the valley and restore confidence, hard work ethic and morals to the program Steve Cleveland was hired. I don't think Cleveland is capable of success at a 1-A level; the success of last season was a core group of solid players... but recruiting has suffered and and I felt like the team has outgrown him and needs more mature leadership and guidance. We've got a pristine arena to play in at the Save Mart Center, but now we need a showcase team to exploit it. FS has a rich history of b-ball and it'd really be nice to reclaim it. Can we get a new, better coach please?
