Hard to say. Let's see...Joe Namath, Joe Montana, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, and I think Johnny Unitas came out of PA.  Building on that, if Terrell chose the University of Michigan with its high percentage of QBs that go on to be successful in the NFL... I don't know. I do recall a fellow named Ron Pawlus from the early 1990s that came out of PA and was supposed to be Big-time, but stunk at Notre Dame. This kid has to meet all the hype given... tough regardless of the school chosen. Stay tuned...

Small correction - instead of looking at UofM's record with QB's, look at RR's success at QB and then tell me why he should have gone to UofM? Shaun King?? Are you kidding me...RR simply runs a gimmicky system not built on putting kids in the NFL. If you disagree, simply look at the number (or lack there of) of players he has coached that are now in the NFL.

Pryor is so in love with himself I dont know if there is room for another person to be his roommate next fall.  This kid is already comparing HIMSELF to Tom Brady?  Are you serious?

I hope he falls on his face!

He was responding to the comments comparing him to Vince Young because of his freakish athleticism. He's stated he wants to be more like Tom Brady, a pure winner.

So you're criticizing a high school player for saying that they want to develop into a pocket passer instead of relying on their physical skills?

Bambino,

Where did you come up with Michigan having a "high percentage og QB's in the NFL"? Name 5? Name 3?

Okay .. Brady is good; the NE system is better. I take nothing away from Tom. But he sure has a lot of pressure off of him with the talent around him. Hairball .. can't remember much about him. Griese is a bust. Grbac quit from the pressure at Baltimore ...

But the major thing that you're leaving out: Everyone of the the players that you mentioned are from from coaching staffs that are long-gone. And not one of them is from a program that used the spread. The biggest issue is that nobody goes from a spread team to the NFL and is prepared to play. They are further behind since they've played the spread. Thus his desire to go to a program that does not depend soley on the spread. This is a big point. One that's been talked about over and over again since RR took over. This is not the same UM.

Just look at the guy coming out of Oregon. Isn't many people talking about him being a defense back in the pros?

I'm sorry to say this, since I think there is no statesman like JoePa is for college football, but maybe its time to move aside. All of the QB's mentioned in an earlier post are way back in time players. How would anyone expect a young player to relate to Joe Namath, for example, he's probably older than the players father.

Thanks for the link.  Right from the article it states:

"Michigan's quarterback tradition started at the end of the Bo Schembechler era in 1990 when the Wolverines put aside the run-first, option attack for a pro-style offense."

I agree with this statement, and have what should have been the article's next statement below:

This quarterback tradition ended at the end of the Lloyd Carr era in 2007, when the Wolverines put aside the pro-style offense for a RR style offense.

Tom Brady! He must be kidding. I also heard he tried to distance himself from Young. What an idiot! Last time I checked Young has a National Title, first round draft pick and starts in the NFL. His success in the NFL is still a process. Pryor strikes me as a selfish and spoiled child who has had his ego stroked for years. I can't wait to see him fail at Ohio St. Really Pryor should I don't know maybe..... complete more than say 5 or 6 passes in a game to call himself a QB instead of a glorified running back calling plays. He really belongs in a spread offense because he will never be a QB.
