I've been whining for those big market teams to start building from within and it appears they're starting to. The salaries are not good for me, a fan of a very low revenue team, but it's the nature of the game. I like baseball so I'll still watch but with less the eagerness I used to. As other posters have mentioned, the money is getting so obscene that it'd be comical if it wasn't so sad. Yes, I guess it's it's what the market demands but I'm not sure going to a game should be for upper middle class and higher only but again, it is what it is. At least I can stop complaining about big revenue teams buying talent other team's talent as much as I used to. I can still enjoy the game and if the team I support wins a title, it'll be icing on the cake. For me, that'll have to be better than expecting a title.
