O'Neill is not the man, but I wonder if there any Cat fans who think Olson should step aside too?  Think about it.. 25 years, 1 National Championship.. 11 years ago.  Last final four 7 years ago.  Olson vagueness over why he took an entire year off seems very odd to me, and one in which I would think twice before committing as a major recruit (and recruiting has always been Olson's strong suit).

Sorry, but I would be very surprised to see another Arizona final four appearance for the rest of Olson's tenure.

I have to admit I'm a CATS fan. Had season tickets during their first final four team of  1987-1988 and Lute did his best job of coaching during these early years.  He has had some teams that have certainly underperformed, but then again, there are not too many coaches that have MADE a program from nothing and taken it to one of the premier  bball programs in the country while winning a National Title.  I don't think O'Neil is the man.  He keeps referring to the NBA game! This is not the NBA Kevin!? you can change up your defense and offense every once in awhile, its not a technical foul like in the NBA!  Since I'm on the topic of Kevin O'Neil, has anyone ever looked at his year over year record for the teams he coached? Pathetic!  He is no where near in the same league as many of the PAC 10 coaches.  I worried that this day would come, but I knew it would happen eventually.

Think about it ? I have and he should come back......think about good coaoches who NEVER get championships, let alone final fours. Lute will be just fine but does need to get the graduation rate a little higher. Maybe he needs to Stop recruiting NBA high schoolers, and develope his own four year NBA players

i think we've missed our opportunity for a few more championship banners over the years..., but 1 nat'l championship is more than most coaches, as is 4 final fours & the numerous wins, pac-10 championships & much much more.  i often get frustrated as well but one look at Lute's resume & the success of the program, even just a few years ago & it reminds me that he has accomplished quite a bit with U of A.  I'm very anxious to see next years squad..., 3 major top recruits (B. Jennings #1 recruit, and a few legitimate big men) coming in plus Jerryd who apparently told Brandon Jennings he's coming back, Chase, Jordan Hill, Nick Wise, Zane Johnson...., we could be hanging another banner in McKale...!

Talk about spoiled, you are definitely what people would call "jaded". I've been a fan of UA basketball for nearly 35 years and before Lute entered the scene, UA under a guy named Ben Lindsay went 2-17 in the Pac-10 and maybe in the entire history of UA basketball the UA made it to the NCAA's maybe four times before Lute's arrival. Two final fours, 23 tournaments in a row, and one national championship is what 99% of all major college programs dream about. I could use a more insulting term for you and your "ilk" than jaded but I'll hold off. You have no idea how good the UA has had it under Lute.
