	Jose has been talking about having the "goods" on A-Rod well before the Mitchell Report. Why didn't he give his evidence about A-Rod to the Mitchell investigators while he was lending a helping hand to Clemons by swearing he wasn't at the party? He is even quoted in the book as saying he "hates your[A-rod's] guts." If he hated him so, why didn't he give him up sooner. The reality is that it doesn't matter because A-rod is not under investigation. They are not going to charge him criminally or drag him into Congress anytime soon. Note the following: Jose should be worried about perjury charges for lying for Roger about that party. He's already been accused of trying to Blackmale Magglio Ordonez if he didn't give him 5 million for a movie project. Legit publishers passed on the book, one saying he didn't have "the goods" he claimed to have on A-rod. Now if the legit publisher passed, wouldn't you think he would have given up the info to get the better deal and make more money for himself.

	Canseco didn't have anything to do with the Mitchell report. Mitchell didn't even speak with Canseco about what he testified to congress with. That is why names like Ivan Rodriguez, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, and the others from Canseco's first book never made the list. And don't count your chickens just yet. Canseco is the second to name A.Rod. Congress will be knocking on A.Rods door very soon. Also there is tons of legit publishers. You don't even need to go to a book company to be published by a top company. You can simply self publish then advertise without a BIN, and if your book does well a top publisher will ask to redistribute your book under their name since you hold 100% rights under the content. Canseco only went to a publisher to cover his behind legally and also because English is not his first language so he needed editors to correct his mistakes.

	Conseco was named in the Mitchell report and like all others had the chance to clear anything up. He went to Congress during the Mitchell Hearings and was turned away. his time has passed. He's simply out for that paper. The Mitchell Investigation is over. They will not call A-rod back admist one of the tightest and possibly history making presidential election coming up. Congress has no reason to call another hearing on steriods so keep dreaming. Even if they did, they can't compel him to testify. You think they want to go through another embarrasment like they did a couple of months ago? Sounds like you're a hater just like ya boy Conseco. Did A-rod "pop" your girlfriend like he "popped" Jose's wife? You obviously are blowing smoke about the legit publishers which shows you don't know what you're talking about and trying to prove a point. Consecon could have gone to any lawyer including his own steroid popping counsel. You don't need a lawyer if what you saying is true.

	I'm not an A-Rod fan at all but I will admit he's a great player maybe the greatest in our era. I think he will break the home run record if he stays healthy. The home run record that IMO Aaron still owns!! (just like Maris still has the single season one) I don't acknowledge Bonds, Sosa or McGwire. It was only a matter of time before someone was to come out and accuse him of roids use. It's the sports world we now live in, if you're good most will think that you're juiced up. I think he's clean however and I think it would be awesome if Jose Canseco were to get hit by a bus!!!!

	I agree with you baldevil. As a Red Sox fan, I despise A-Rod. But I do think he is a great player and is clean. It's funny how everyone seems to say that everything in Canseco's previous book is true, then why is Canseco still stating that Clemens is clean when in his book, he admitted that Clemen's got some so-called "B-12" injections. The alleged code name for steroids? Furthermore, when asked to provide his evidence regarding the current A-Rod steroid allegations, his response is "now is not the time." Don't you think that when you accuse someone of such things, you would immediately provide the eveidence? It's odd that one would wait until he sees "how the other will react." I am not 100% confident that A-Rod is clean, but I would have to side with A-Rod on this one. In fact, I have very litte confidence in most of the MLB players being completely clean during their whole career. A least A-Rod is smart enough to not create a war of words and let the issue sort itself out, unlike that arrogant fool Clemens, who is at risk of being convicted of perjury. That being said, let the MLB season begin. Enough of this nonsense. Let's move forward and address the issue going forward. The past is the past, and we all know we can't go back and change it. Go Red Sox!!

	I am tired of all the bs that Canseco has started. I would never buy one of his books and wouldnt support anything that he does. If everyone stops feeding into the allegations that he is talking about then he would give up and quit. He was broke and thats when he started submitting information. Now I am sure he has plenty of money after creating a disturbance among the league. My thing is the league new that steroids were being used and never did anything about it. Now all of a sudden everyone wants to act on steroid use in the league that was done years ago. I dont care who was using steroids back then because it absolutely means nothing now. The didnt do anything about the steroid use then because the all the homeruns that were being hit was bringing excitement and the crowd back to baseball. The league now has a substance abuse policy and lets just take it from there. Now Canseco has a book that could stir up the league and the stupid book comes out at the beginning of baseball season. That way he knows he will be in the public eye for at least six months the amount of time that the baseball season lasts.

	Yeah I gotta agree with Pats Own on this one. A-Rod is most likely clean. Canseco is trying to sell a book. Of course if you want the evidence "you'll just have to buy my book and find out" I gotta call BS money making nonsense on that. This coupled with the facts listed by Chutebox, I think Canseco is an attention grabber.
