Rasmus shouldn't hit leadoff yet, to much pressure on a guy that's only 20.
I disagree. The leadoff position is the perfect slot for Rasmus. Age shouldn't matter when the skills he poses are present. He is everything you want in a leadoff guy, speed, disciplined bat that rarely misses contact, and a little bit of pop.
But La Russa has been batting Ankiel behind Pujols more lately and I think that is because he wants a guy that is going to have a little bit better of an average behind Poo than Troy Glaus would. Both Troy and Rick have a good amount of pop to clear the bases, but you would not want Glaus slowing Rick down on the bases.
