This has got to be the most stupid thing ever. To suspend him and then un suspend him. He should have at least missed a game or a quarter.. or a couple games... geez. but oh well it didn't surprise me. I figured it was coming. It's only a matter of time before LSU reverts back to the old days before Saban.

2007 Ryan Perrilloux is a person of interest to a counterfeiting ring.

2007 Ryan Perrilloux is suspended indefinitely after he was issued a misdemeanor for trying to use his brother's driver's license to get into the Hollywood Casino gambling boat.

2007 Perrilloux was involved in a fight at a Baton Rouge nightclub. Odom and Jeremy Benton were dismissed from the team but Perrilloux was allowed to remain on the team.

2008 Perrilloux was suspended indefinitely for violating team rules. (classes, workouts, and one team meeting.)

Counterfeiting ring: nothing ever became of it. The FBI apparently misplaced the interest they had in him.

Using someone else's ID: BAAAADDD BOY!!! This simply seemed stupid to me. Hell, he could have walked into any bar in Louisiana, gambled and never even gotten ID'd. Instead, he picks one of the few places that actually checks.

Nightclub fight: Odom and Benton were actually involved in fighting. Perrilloux was not. In fact, it was also reported that he had a gun. The same video that dispelled that rumor showed how little involvement Perrilloux had in the whole thing. He was basically suspended for being AT a bar.

Violating team rules: This is the worst one. However, how many players on teams get suspended each year for "violating team rules." At least the rules he violated were meeting/workout ones and not the "don't beat up women or take the possesions of other people" ones that typically get glossed over by teams.

Should he be punished more? Perhaps, but I haven't seen a whole lot that would make him seem to be a Pacman Jones clone. He seems more like an immature kid who needs to learn he's not the one in charge. Personally, I would have liked to seen him out of the spring practices all together, but I can live with what Miles did.

Another sad story of a athlete with great potential flushing his opportunities down the drain. Les needs to cut his losses with this guy and move on.

If that's the case then I say this about every team out there. I think the media is over reacting. These are kids straight out of high school. How many of us at their age have done things alot worse and never got caught? I've done some crazy stuff in my early years and if I was famous I'd have someone following me and I would be on the news. Luckily nobody cares what I do and I never got caught being young and immature. It takes an immature person to become mature.

Huh?  LSU has been the one SEC time to consistently kick trash of the team.  Cecil Collins, etc. were all kicked off!  At Alabama or Auburn they would have been given pay checks.  I'm not saying LSU hasn't had trouble makers but the difference is they don't let them stay.
