Feeling sympathetic?  Does this have anything to do with a certain 100 year anniversary rapidly approaching?  I think the Cubs showed us last year that the New-York-Yankee-buy-a-team strategy doesn't work anymore.  They choked beautifully against the D-backs.  My God, that was a pathetic series, and unfortunately for the Cub nation, the team's best chance in years

Meanwhile, a better NL-Central team just a short drive up I-94continues to fly under the national radar.  The Brewers  have some questions in their rotation, but they are definitely improved over last year.  There certainly won't be any starry-eyed youngsters losing focus at Wrigley down the stretch, now that they've experienced a pennant race.

The goat's not giving up the curse this year, folks.

How is that better team doing this year?  Cubs are notorious for their slow starts in April.  The fact they are hitting the cover off the ball, playing solid defense, and getting solid pitching has to have some re-thinking the Cubs chances......Unless of course you are unable to form an unbiased opinion...
