He may have helped Kent establish themselves as a nationally known mid-major, but I don't think Kent is gonna drop into the cellar without him. His replacement is a guy familiar with their system. He can probably still recruit the same quality of players that they were getting before. I hate Kent as much as the next Akron student, but they did have pretty even talent from 1-5 and that probably won't change with a new coach.
Not to mention the fact that the new coach will probably have them playing the same dirty game that they played before, and unless something changes in the MAC, teams like Kent will still get alot of breaks.
