i posted this on the main board, thought i might try it here.... thanks

What a game the Raptors played last night!! After giving up 63 points in the first half, they held the Bobcats to 37 in the second half including giving up ONLY 10 points in the 3rd quarter.... I don't care what team you are talking about in the NBA, 10 points against is very impressive!!

Chris Bosh scored 32 points and added 8 rebounds and 5 assists. T.J. Ford played the most consistant game he has played all year, and the best since the return with 16 points and 7 assists...and only 2 turnovers. Rasho Nesterovic was a very solid defender inside last night and played well on offense which is what this team has needed, someone other than Bosh to score consistantly inside!!! he was good enough for the Spurs, not sure why Sam doesn't think he can play. It was nice to watch Jamario Moon go off for 15 and play some defense again, and Anthony Parker has been in a very good groove with 20 points...

i can only hope that this team can keep up the solid play inside and continue to balance the scoring with 5 guys in double digits scoring and 3 guys with 8 or more boards. it was exciting to see the Raptors win a game without killing it from outside, which they can but rather by playing shut down defense and solid perimeter defense. here's hoping they are ready for a playoff run as the east looks like it is finally heating up. with games this week against the Hawks, the Bobcats and the Nets, this team could crawl back up in the seedings...

well done guys...

your thoughts welcome

takman I like your enthusiasm but you cant let these Raptors get your hopes up, they dont sustain anything good they do, and Bargnani is obviously not the source of all the inconsistency like a lot of us thought. Bottom line, if this team keeps letting up on teams after a decent lead then were not going anywhere this year. Tonight we give up a 17 point lead to end up losing (forget the fact that we got jobbed by the Atlanta scores table AGAIN) in overtime, and we couldnt stop the 3 point shooters, especially Mike Bibby who carved us up like its 2003. I really wish TJ wouldve just fouled him quickly and have him shoot 2. Oh well, we stay in 6th thanks to the wiz loss, so I guess it wasnt all bad...

I'm out
