Apparently the rumors of Mbakwe transferring are false.  Nick Williams was released from his letter of intent.  Tyshawn Taylor wants out, and will probably be released.  But Joe Fulce, Chris O'Tule, and 2009 top 100 recruit Erik Williams (the three Texas kids Buzz recruited) have all said they're still coming to MU.  Considering all the transferring and releasing that seems to be going on and that we had a coaching change, I don't think our situation is disastrous.  But losing three guards that would have been on the roster next year is going to leave us desperate for guards for 2009-10, if not looking for some talent off the bench to go along with Acker and Cubillan next year.

it's really looking like Taylor wont be coming to Marquette.  Marquette issued the release from the LOI, Taylor and his parents just need to sign it.  His coach Bobby Hurley has stated that he wanted to go to marquette to play for Crean, and the fact that jerel and Dom look to be coming back, also doesn't help.  He'd potentially be playing behind 5 guys.  I just hope he doesn't go to Indiana, I'd be so pissed.

According to Taylor's list of schools that he recently posted, Marquette is still actually in the mix.  However, he is visiting other schools and wanted to play for Judas more than Buzz.
