This whole Bennett team moving to OKC ( They are no longer the Sonics ) I have read a ton of posts from both sides I for one think the whole situation stinks... but oh.. well I guess Sonic fans can hope that Stern gives Seattle an expansion to say Ooops sorry like he did for Charlotte.. but he wont.. in his words Seattle can not support an NBA franchise. Fine.. so be it.. here you go the team is moving to OKC and now the NBA doesn't have to waste their time in Seattle. What I want to know is from all of you " experts " telling us how bad the NBA is in Seattle and how we should just stop whinning, crying, and buck up it is the way of economic growth. REALLY !??! I am curious.. All of those people that have no problem in the world with what went on in Seattle.. I ask you to answer me honestly... say a group of investers from Butte,Montana ( pronounced byoot ) anted up say 600 million to buy the Bulls from Chicago. and after a lengthy debate between the new owners and the city of Chicago on how the team need a NEW and much improved stadium at the citys expence because they do not want to see the Bulls leave Chicago... but alas no deal is made and so the proposal of moving the team to Butte is entered to the Office of Mr. Stern. after some interesting numbers strategies and nonsense meetings..The new group, The NBA owners and Stern himself say " GREAT !! a new market lets take a vote.. ooooo close one, but it's a done deal.. starting with the 2010 - 2011 season the Chicago Bulls will be moved into their new 700 million dollar stadium and all is good with the world.
Tell me I am a complete idiot. ( too late I already have ) but this is no different than what Seattle just went through. But seriously what is the difference??? be honest!! Because I personally don't see one.
