Chicago may be interested in Tom Izzo.  How big would this be for UM's basketball program?  With Izzo's departure, I think Beilein could take a lot of in-state kids away from East Lansing and really turn around UM basketball in a hurry.

Hopefully Rick Carlisle will turn down the Bulls job.

Izzo isn't going anywhere. He'd be an idiot to leave Michigan st. But if he does this will open the door for Michigan to get back into the drivers seat for the state. Just like when Steve Fisher was removed so went the Michigan pipelines to the state. Izzo took over and hasn't looked back. Izzo is a great coach and is a smart one. As much as I hate MSU he makes college basketball a better game and I hope he stays. Michigan will be just fine. It will take another year.

This just In. The Dallas Mavericks found their new coach by the name of Rick Carlisle. We have hope again for Izzo to go to Chicago.

Dear Michigan fans,

You hired Belien to get recruits over Izzo. Now you are hoping Izzo leaves so they can fall in your lap?? No faith in the Belein apparently. Niether would I after a 10-22 season. Michigan is horrible. This recruiting class is terrible. Someone should tell Belien to start recruiting some athletes because 3 white guys isnt going to get the job done. Zach Novak- 1 star recruit, Stuart Douglas- 2 star recruit, Ben Cronin- 3 star recruit only because he is 7 foot, he is a dopey slow center.
