Heyaaa...I think this one time in 1994 the Patriots beat the Chargers 23-17.  I reference this date because it is completely relavent to everything that happened this season.

Yes, I do.  WR's usually take a few years to develop.  I guess that means Chad should have his breakout year this year.... LOL!  The reason that I compared V.J to Chad was because they were drafted in the same round (late 2nd) and at about the same time.  Same with Weddle vs. Merriweather (Merriweather being late 1st and Weddle early 2nd).  Get it...?  Same position, same draft position, same years.... easier to compare who does a better job at drafting...?  And speaking of V. Jackson... did you see what he did vs.  Tenn/Indy/NE...?  Averaged over 100 yds/game.  6 receptions/game.  2 TD's.  V. Jackson has arrived!

This is like talking to a 5 year old.  Let me just finish out this thread with the following:

Patriots > Chargers

In any way that you look at it.  You want to start comparing players from a single draft...how about comparing teams.

Patriots > Chargers in 2007-2008

better in 2006-2007
better in the 21st century
better since the league started!

so before you try to criticize the Patriots drafting, please check out the success of the team you're comparing it to.  Maybe when the Chargers win more than one AFC championship since joining the league (PATHETIC) you can stop by again.  Or maybe when the Chargers accomplish more in their entire history than the Pats have this decade you can stop by for a chat.
