umm, i personally would have liked to have him here for years. He was very entertaining, he did a great job and he will be sorely missed by many Torontonians. He brought a certain energy to every game i could never get sick of all his sayings.
Then here is one of my favorite 'boring good natured sayings' from Chuck - "That's why there is chocolate and vanilla"... Yeeesh!
Speaking of Mike Toth.... i Cannot stand this guy, he ruins every show he goes on. Exhibit A: While listening to "The Bullpen on the Fan590" this morning, Toth would not stop talking about how he wears makeup on the tv side of sportscentre... And when he fills in for the Bobcat... ugh.... Anyways just venting.
Toth is horrible - whenever he is on I turn the station. Sounds like a little boy with a chocolate milk in front of him, mispronouncing anything with a 'T-H' sound (the = da, them = dem, etc). Drives me nuts.
