Well, as far as McElroy goes, I really don't know much about him even though I live in the LaSalle area, but the conference he plays in had two great teams this year (Moeller and St. Xavier), so he got to play against some good competition. For Wilks, I think he just got beat out for playing time. Maybe he's developing slower, maybe not, but a lot of guys pushed for playing time and while he wanted to give everyone time, Cronin did want to win last season. Wilks clearly wasn't the best of the freshman, so he didn't play much.
