Who do you think will be our starting 5 for '08-'09?

PG: Cashmere Wright
SG: Deonta Vaughn
SF: Nick Aldridge / Rashard Bishop (beginning of year)
PF: Yancy Gates
C: Mike Williams (if McClain plays like he did last year, Cronin will probably not start him)

Tell me what you think?

this is a tough thing to guess. mick will have some hard choices to make.

1.pg- cashmere wright, dion dixon as his sub. this guy is deadly from behind the arc.

2.sg-deonta vaughn, larry davis and dion dixon as his subs

3.sf-mike williams, rashed bishop and nick aldridge as his sub

4.pf- yancy gates, kenny belton and rashed bishop as his subs

5. biggie mcclain, steve toyloy as his sub.

i left 2 players off the list, wilks and mitchell. i just don't know where these 2 guys are going to fit in with this team this year.

this team looks really good on paper. we are not getting alot of respect rte now, and mick is still not getting alot of respect.

this teams consits of 1st team all big east player d.vaughn. mcdonald all american mike williams. 5 star recruit yancy gates. 4 star recruit cashmere wright, and alot of 2nd year players that will show improvment as they did last year.

mick has proven to me atleast, that he can get the job done. he had his kids playin hard and great d, just imagine if we could of made some layup's last year.

I agree.  If the team lives up to their potential, they will be a serious threat in college basketballs best conference.  I think that Nick Aldridge will have a good impact on the team.  He can score a lot, but I don't know about his defense.  It is good that Bud Mackey is not coming to Cincy.  This team is young and will need to get to know each other well and build up chemistry, which you can't do if someone is in jail for the whole season.  Do you think that Mike Williams will get an extra year of eligibility because of his injury last season?

Wow benevolent OG! You are very smart! This lineup looks straight from Cronin's depth chart. One problem with it is that I don't think that Mike Williams will play Center. Cronin will probably go with Anthony McClain in the situation. Mike Williams will be a Small Forward who can bang it inside if needed. Nick Aldridge will be a 6th Man and will put up a lot. I agree with your backcourt. Deonta Vaughn and Cashmere Wright will tear it up with non-stop shots or passes. This team is not final for quality, but they will get a Tournament bid this year. Also Danny McElroy has de-committed, which may not be so good. Also, Mike Williams deserves a redshirt, if not, that will suck.

well mick class just jump to 30th by rivals.

with yancy moving up to a 5 star player, wright as a 4 star and dixon and toyloy as 3 stars, guess that was enough to get us up there.

if im correct, both years that mick has been here, his classes were in the top 30.

congraltion mick, looking forward to watching you develope these kids into great players.
