The NL has to be the stronger league at this point... The NL MVP candidates (Berkamn,  Utley, Chipper Jones) and Cy Young Candidate (Webb) are Far Superior to those of the AL currently... I think the ASG this year will be really cool, hopefully the AL surprises me.

Webb being 9 1 means nothing since hes pitching to much weaker lineups.  It is not even close. The NL has MAYBE 2 teams that would content in any AL division. Dbacks and Cubs. MAYBE!!!!

I'm sorry, being 9-1 through 10 starts in the MLB will NEVER mean nothing...

So what is the time frame were talking here. You say overall...does that mean from the beginnings of baseball? Then the answer is NL. Are we talking in the 2000's? The AL. Are we talking this season? Then it might be a bit of a debate.

Clarify the question please.

When you ask who the "More Superior League" is, I would think that it is common sense that one would assume "this year" unless otherwise specified.

I would say the NL is better this year so far.  I make that statement based on comparing the best positional players between the two leagues.

(I understand the question now) I like the NL style of play better, I think there is more strategy involved with having to let the pitcher hit.

Do you want to pinch hit for your starter after 7 shutout innings, because the game is still scoreless and there is a man in scoring position?
