If Posada is going to be out longer than six weeks, GM Brian Cashman probably needs to obtain a veteran catcher to pair with Jose Molina. Some possibilities include: Mike DiFelice (minors for Tampa Bay), Sal Fasano (minors for Atlanta), Doug Mirabelli (free agent cut by Boston in spring), Damian Miller (free agent), Josh Paul (minors in Houston) and Mike Piazza (free agent that hasn't caught a game since 2006 with San Diego). The Yankees could also trade one of their prospects to Pittsburgh for Ronny Paulino. Molina injured his hamstring when he saw regular at-bats earlier in the month, so whomever joins the team could play a lot, which makes them AL-only viable.
