Red Sox get Hull for SS Lara: The Red Sox acquired right-handed reliever Eric Hull from the Dodgers in exchange for minor league infielder Christian Lara. The 28-year-old Hull was designated for assignment by the Dodgers on March 31. He was assigned Tuesday to the inactive list at Triple-A Pawtucket and to Boston's extended spring training program in Fort Myers, Fla.
